Superficial treatment, repainting of the cylinder

Over the years the surface condition of the cylinders is deficient, paint in poor condition, appearance of surface rust, etc.., Therefore, we believe that for a complete renewal of the surface state the best application process consist in a shot blasting to remove painting, rust and labels and finally we will apply a powder coating polymerized in oven.

What is powder coating?

Is a bakeable dry painting, which serves as coating for application over ferrous and nonferrous surfaces.

Composed by polymers, pigments and additives in fine powder form which is applied on the workpiece by electrostatic process through magnetization produced by the oppositely charged powder to the workpiece (metal with positive charge attracts the powder with negatively charged) then the workpiece is introduced into the oven at a suitable temperature (approx. 200°C) where it melts and then cures to form a uniform continuous layer on the surface providing a very high durability and strength.
